Balsamic Glazed Roast, Potatoes and Carrots

Posted by Cooking with Kitchen Craft on

What you'll need

Kitchen Craft 4 quart Gourmet Cooker

1 3-4 pound boneless roast beef (chuck or round roast)
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon liquid aminos
1 tablespoon raw honey
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 teaspoon ground black pepper (optoinal)
2 cloves garlic chopped
4 carrots
4 potatoes

Brown meat on stove top in the 4 quart Gourmet Cooker. Stir together balsamic vinegar, Worcester, liquid aminos, honey and red and black pepper. The peppers are optional because they give the recipe a real kick. Rub mixture onto browned roast. Put back into gourmet cooker and add chopped potatoes and carrots. Place onto slow cooker base and let cook for 4 hours or longer on high until the roast falls apart. There will be a lot of moisture left in the pan, so I personally like to whisk in a little four and a touch of milk for a delicious gravy to top it all off.
